Kia ora koutou.  I am not taking new clients at the moment.

I work with children and their whānau who are experiencing difficult feelings, behaviours or relationships

  • grief, loss, separation and trauma

  • strong willed children

  • anxiety, sadness, mood and depression-like symptoms

  • difficult relationships with peers, parents and siblings

  • emotionally-based school refusal

  • separation anxiety and sleeping

  • identity considerations or concerns

  • difficulties arising from developmental and learning differences, including dyslexia, neurodiversity, developmental trauma and FASD

I am committed to Te Titiri o Waitangi and Māori as tangata whenua.  I work ethically and confidentially and I welcome all people including those who identify as neurodiverse, rainbow, twice-exceptional, Māori and Tauiwi.

My practice is based on psychodynamic and relational psychotherapy

  • Masters of Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy (first class hons) from AUT University

  • Registered Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist with Psychotherapists Board of Aotearoa New Zealand (PBANZ)

  • Associate Member of Waka Oranga (National Collective of Māori Psychotherapy Practitioners)

  • Member of IMHAANZ (Infant Mental Health Association Aotearoa New Zealand)
