Here I offer some suggestions of what you can do to support your child while you wait for an appointment with me, including some other mental health services you can consider.  You might also look at this information if you are not in a position to pay for mental health support right now.

Available by telehealth for clients based in Aotearoa NZ.

I work with children, adolescents and their families who are experiencing difficult feelings, behaviours or relationships, including

  • grief, anxiety, sadness, depression, anger
  • school refusal, self-harm, sleeping problems, separation anxiety
  • support for queer, gender diverse, takatāpui and intersex youth
  • difficult relationships with peers, parents, siblings and blended families
  • relating to and understanding your new baby, or older child

I work ethically and confidentially, with a range of ages, from infants through to young adults and their families and whānau.

I welcome all people including those from the neuro-diverse, rainbow, twice-exceptional and other non-dominant communities.

My practice is based on psychodynamic and relational psychotherapy

  • Masters of Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy (first class hons) from AUT University
  • Registered Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist (interim scope) with Psychotherapists Board of Aotearoa New Zealand (PBANZ)
  • Associate Member of Waka Oranga (National Collective of Māori Psychotherapy Practitioners)
  • Member of IMHAANZ (Infant Mental Health Association Aotearoa New Zealand)
